Hardeeville RV Thomas’ RV Park and Sites 3090 South Okatie Hwy./ Hwy 315 Hardeeville, SC 29927
(Jodi) Don’t attempt to call the office number – use the cell. There isn’t anyone in the office on a regular basis, but they do respond to the cell, though you may have to leave a message. When we pulled in and left a message on the cell saying that we were there and needed to register, someone pulled up in a truck after about 15 min.
Our GPS never did find the location of the park, which was extremely frustrating. If you are traveling north or south on I-95 take exit 5 and go south on Speedway Ave. for approximately 4 miles, turn left on Rt. 315 for approximately 3 miles – the park will be on your right hand side.
The park is much closer to Savannah than it is to Hardeeville – just a ten minute – very easy drive. We were so glad we chose it. Getting back and forth to all our destinations: the historic district, Fort Pulaski, into the city to wash clothes and shop was very easy.
After reading others reviews I knew I didn’t want to be up front in the full sun. The back of the park is full shade. Originally Rita was going to put us in the first site next to the office, but I asked if we could have a little shade because of the cat. She was super sweet about it and put us in site 50 and I was so glad as it was the best of both worlds partial shade and few bugs.
The site was a straight pull-through that made it very easy to disconnect the car while leaving the dolly connected. All the sites had full hook-ups with 50 amp service conveniently located along the side.
We stayed Tuesday through Saturday, and whether it was early in the season or not, the entire park stayed quiet day and night. Two or three couples pulled out on Wednesday, and only one arrival. It didn’t even pick up on Friday evening! All in all a very nice stay, I think we would stay there again if the opportunity arose.
